As part of the One Faculty, One Future project, the Formal Governance, Research Themes and Disciplines working parties have today released proposals for comment from the Faculty. All staff are strongly encouraged to provide feedback on the proposals.

These proposals further develop the proposed governance and management structure contained in the ECM Strategic Review Paper , following the completion of the Strategic Review 2009.

Feedback on these proposals closes on Monday 15 February 2010. Further details on opportunities to provide feedback will be made available in the new year. This period for feedback has been extended due to the festive season and the many staff on leave in early January, so that all staff have an opportunity to contribute.

Members of the Faculty are asked to note that the Research Themes Proposal is in the process of being updated, and a revised version will be made available to the Faculty in the new year. The current proposal is as submitted to the last meeting of the Faculty Representative Panel, and has not yet reflected a large amount of feedback received from a number of researchers across the Faculty.
