The ARC's Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities Funding ( LIEF ) scheme provides funding for large-scale cooperative initiatives, so that expensive infrastructure, equipment and facilities can be shared by researchers in partnered organisations. More than $30 million was awarded to 71 projects across the country in the 2010 round.

We are delighted with the outstanding success of Faculty staff with projects led by academics in the Faculty being awarded 3 of the 5 grants awarded to UWA , and involvement of Faculty staff in the other 2. A number of staff were also involved in successful applications through other Universities and these are listed further below.
