The Australian Research Council Linkage Projects Round 2 is now open, with application forms available on ARCs Research Management System (RMS). Round 2 Instructions to Applicants are also available on the website.

Internal UWA Deadline :  4th November 2009

Internal Submission Process:
All applications must be submitted by the internal closing date as follows:

  • Submit one hard copy of the entire application together with an Application Cover Sheet and the signed Linkage Projects Certification Proforma to the Research Grants Office.
  • Once feedback has been provided (please note that feedback will only be provided on hard copy submission):
    • On RMS hit the Submit Proposal to Research Office link.
    • Provide a final hard copy to the Research Grants Office.

Partner Letter of Support
Requirements concerning the partner support letters are on page 24 of the Instructions for Applicants . Note in particular the requirement for the Partner Organisation(s) letter of eligibility and support to include the following wording:

"I certify that no part of the cash contribution is drawn from funds previously appropriated from government sources for the purposes of research, evaluation and/or consultancy activity;" and

"I have read and understood the requirements in the standard Linkage Projects Funding Agreement about Partner Organisation written agreements, including the requirement to enter into arrangements regarding intellectual property”
