Postgraduate students in agriculture, natural sciences, earth and environmental sciences, physical sciences, biology and environmental engineering are invited to present the findings of their research at the Royal Society of WA (RSWA) 11th Annual Postgraduate Student Symposium.

Finishing Masters or PhD students or those, who have submitted within one year of the symposium date, are invited to present their work orally. However, we also invite poster presentations from Honours, Masters or PhD students.

Information for presenters:

  • An abstract limited to one half- page, a brief curriculum vitae should be emailed to [email protected] ,
  • Please indicate when you expect to submit your thesis,
  • Deadline: 5 August 2009,
  • The notification of acceptance will be emailed to you within two weeks of the deadline,
  • Power Point facilities will be available at the venue,
  • Presenters will be given 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions,
  • Free membership of the RSWA for one year is provided to all presenters.

This is the cross-campus multidisciplinary symposium with free registration that includes a BBQ lunch. Fellow students, scientists and interested members of the public are very welcome to attend.
Non-presenters are asked to RSVP to symposium organisers by 1st September. Half-price membership rates are offered to all new RSWA members that join on the day.
