UWA researchers who are working or hoping to develop collaborations with partners at the University of Sydney are encouraged to apply for the International Program Development Fund (IPDF) , which has been announced by the University of Sydney.

IPDF scheme is similar to UWA Research Collaboration Awards. It provides funding to support initiatives in internationalisation and includes a category that specifically supports collaborations with Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) partners, including UWA.

Applicants are encouraged to submit funding applications for innovative and sustainable programs built around collaborative research and/or learning and teaching initiatives.

Key dates:

  • IPDF 2010 application deadline: Monday 10 August 2009
  • IPDF 2010 awards announced: Late September 2009
  • IPDF funding dispensed: Monday 4 January 2010

All intending applicants in this category must first discuss their application with the Program Manager (International Networks). Maximum funding of $15,000 (average $10,000) per grant is available.
