The UWA Graduates Association (UWAGA) Malaysia organised a trip down memory lane in May this year for members. Over 50 alumni travelled to Perth to revisit their old university and reconnect with fellow graduates from their time at UWA. Most of them lived in residential colleges while studying at the University and were very keen to go back to where they spent so much of their time and have such fond memories.

Most of these graduates came to UWA sponsored under the Colombo Plan. Many are engineering graduates who have been extremely successful in their careers, including Harun Johari (BE 1977), Zainul Rahim Zain (BE1976) and Kamarulzaman Omar.
