The Governance and Management Co-Chairs, Professor Greg Ivey and Dr Nick Spadaccini, are pleased to announce the release of their Governance and Management Issues Paper for the Strategic Review 2009.

The Governance and Management Issues paper is available on the Strategic Review website and all members of the Faculty are encouraged to read it.

This paper is a result of feedback from the Governance and Management workshop, individual submissions, interviews and a considerable amount of data from this Faculty and university, and other universities, as well as the issues and recommendations of the other four review areas of the Strategic Review. The output from the workshop is available on the Strategic Review website.

Submissions

With the release of the Governance and Management Issues paper, all members of the Faculty are reminded that submissions can be made on potential recommendations on the issues paper. Guidelines for making submissions are available on the Strategic Review website . A list of current submissions can also be found on the website.

Staff seeking to make submissions are encouraged to do so as soon as possible, to enable the Co-Chairs the maximum opportunity to consider the submission.

Next Steps

The Governance and Management Issues paper will form the basis for considering recommendations for the Governance and Management of the Faculty, in conjunction with the recommendations, values, principles and issues identified by the other Strategic Review Co-Chairs.
