UWA has introduced two new courses; a science major, Climate and Environment, and  a Master of Nursing Science.

Present and future climate change and environmental issues are among the foremost scientific challenges presently facing the global community. This is an exciting area of study for those who want to become leaders in their community on environmental problems. Successful graduates will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of policy planning and problem solving. For the first time those students interested in studying nursing can look to UWA as their choice of university. Our new Master of Nursing Science degree will prepare graduates to become a registered nurse. This is a two year course that is available to students after they complete a Bachelor degree in another field of study.
