The Ian Potter Foundation invites early career researchers to apply for the travel grants.

The Ian Potter Foundation makes grants for general charitable purposes in Australia.
The Foundation also has a small travel grants program.

The objective of the Travel Grants Program is to assist early career researchers with at least three years tenure to travel, usually outside Australia , for the purpose of professional development (for example, attending a conference) and to gain further experience and meet their peers in the international scene.

Funding is of between $2,000 and $3,000, the individual's employing organisation must undertake to match the grant.

Applications submission:
at least 4 months before travel.

Closing Dates:
1st June 2009 (first round), 1st October 2009 (second round)
