The Research Co-Chairs, Professor Cheryl Praeger and Professor Mark Randolph, are pleased to release their Research Issues Paper for the Strategic Review 2009.

The Research Issues Paper is available online, and all members of the Faculty are encouraged to read it.

The Research Issues Paper is based upon wide consultation with the Faculty through a series of three workshops, as well as some submissions, and is supported by a considerable amount of data.

Submissions

With the release of the Research Issues Paper, all members of the Faculty are reminded that submissions can be made on any aspect of the review, including:

1. The issues raised in the Research Issues Paper; and/or
2. Suggestions and ideas for models, options, principles or values that could form part of the Options Paper.

For submissions to have the opportunity to be considered fully, they must be provided as soon as possible.

It is important that submissions are made in line with the submission guidelines.

Next Steps

The Research Co-Chairs will now commence developing strategic options, principles and plans based on the issues paper, which will culminate into the development of an Options Paper

This options paper will be presented to the Faculty through an open workshop, where feedback will be collected and incorporated into the options, before a final recommended course of action is developed.
