We are pleased to announce that this year the Faculty will be acknowledging our 2008 award winning students by hosting a celebration breakfast in the Banquet Hall at The University Club on Thursday, 21st May 2009; 7.45am - 9.30am

We understand that the timing may clash with some lectures and ask that they please be suspended on the morning where suitable, to enable students and staff to attend.

We are trialing a different format this year in an attempt to improve the engagement of winners and prize donors.  We have found in the past that students and industry struggle to make contact during the reception and often leave without officially meeting.  We feel that by seating them together at tables it will encourage improved networking in a semi-professional environment.  The formalities will also be refined, removing the need for each winner to go up on stage to receive their certificate.  We will instead have a few speeches interspersed throughout the breakfast to enable time for talking at the tables.
