An informal ceremony was held on Monday 11 May to recognise the winners of International Undergraduate Scholarship's, awarded to six First Year Engineering Students: Pek Ing Au, Jin Seng Chan, Tshun Hung Hong, Choi Seng Leonardo Ling, Gerald Jian Hung Tan and Kim How Lee.
All six students were directed to UWA by the agent Market Management Services (MMS), located in Kuching, Malaysia. Many students began their studies in WA at foundation colleges, and the Faculty was pleased to welcome representatives from Canning College and Tuart College to the scholarship presentation. Other attendees included Faculty staff and UWA International Centre staff Garry Hendy, Kelly Smith and Annabel Turner.
The event was enjoyed by all and the students were honoured to be presented their certificates by the Dean, Winthrop Professor David Smith.
