Researchers at The University of Western Australia aim to improve health outcomes for pre-term babies by restoring the infants’ natural sleep-wake cycle. The cycle, commonly known as the circadian rhythm, is vital to healthy growth and development.

The Professional and General Staff Agreement provides for the establishment of the Professional and General Staff Consultative Committee (PGCC).  The role of  the PGCC is to enable direct consultation between management and employees on workplace relations and human resource matters.  The membership of the committee includes three elected staff representatives and the term of these staff representatives has ended.

Leaving the Middle East to study in Perth was the first step Caine Chennatt took on a personal journey that has seen him accomplish so much since arriving 11 years ago.

You get the feeling however this is just the tip of the iceberg.

On completion of his communications degree, Caine joined the UWA Faculty of Arts in 2009 and moved to the Cultural Precinct in 2013.

Team UWA win University Games Championship

Congratulations to Team UWA for winning the 2016 University Games. Their impressive win backs up the Western University Games championship title they secured earlier this year.

Over 5,000 athletes from 41 universities across Australia took part in the flagship event on the national university sporting calendar. Team UWA’s 520 athletes competed in 32 sports on home soil – the first time the games have been hosted in Perth for six years. 

“The week was full of exceptional performances and the usual highs and lows that come with sport.

New medical and security travel support provider for UWA travellers
