The annual research publications collection will take place from 10th April to 1st June. This year it will be carried out through the UWA Research Repository. The Minerva interface will no longer be used in the new process.
The University has improved the Conflicts of Interest policy and process for staff to declare an actual, perceived or potential conflict of interest. The new streamlined approach will enable greater transparency and action in managing conflict of interest risk for the University.

Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984, employees are legally entitled to nominate and, if necessary, elect workplace health and safety representatives. The University has been divided into around 80 workplaces for this purpose.
Nominations are now being sought for 23 workplaces which are either vacant or the current representative's term expires at the end of March 2017.
UWA researchers from the University’s Bee Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) and the national iMove CRC collaboration will benefit from two Federal Government CRC grants totalling $62 million which were awarded last week.
