The MAGICian robotics team, formed as a collaboration between The University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University and Flinders University with support from leading defence contractor Thales, has been shortlisted as one of only ten teams from an international field to take part in the MAGIC 2010 International Challenge.

Perth to get electric vehicle charging stations in 2010

A consortium led by The University of Western Australia and Murdoch University will install Perth's first Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations in early 2010 as part of a research project which has been awarded $229,000 funding under the Australian Research Council's Linkage grant scheme.
