The migration process not only ensures that websites meet objectives of the business unit, but also ensure compliance with the University's draft Web Policy which is due to take effect as of 1 January 2010.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research and Research Training), Professor Robyn Owens, and the Postdoctoral Coordinator, Dr Amelia Scaffidi, are pleased to announce a new Early Career Research Award, designed to acknowledge outstanding research accomplishments by Early Career Postdoctoral Researchers. Five AU$1000 prizes are being offered for the best work accepted for publication.

On 16-17 November 2009, the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE) is holding its Annual Symposium ‘Future-Proofing Australia - Rising to the Challenge of Climate Change'. ATSE is awarding Early Career Symposium (ECS) Fellowships to researchers (including students and those within 3 years of their PhD award) who are developing a career in the scientific and technological industries. ATSE ECS Fellows will be invited to attend the Symposium and contribute to the conclusions.
