The Centre for Energy extends a welcome to new and returning FYP students, and reminds them to ensure they adhere to COVID19 social distancing.

After a brief stint working from home, researchers from the Centre for Energy have largely returned to working fulltime on campus. We are all ready and excited to welcome FYP students back to the Centre when the University allows. Given that COVID-19 is still rampant in the community, social distancing rules are still in effect. This means that you must:

  1. Keep a distance of ~1.5m between you and others
  2. Cover your face if coughing or sneezing and wash hands whenever possible
  3. Limit the sharing of items
  4. Do not come to the Centre if you are showing any signs of illness or are feeling unwell

Hopefully, if we all abide by these rules, we can keep our Centre open and research efforts ongoing.

Professor Dongke Zhang hopes that we all manage to keep happy, healthy and hopeful in these uncertain and unprecedented times.
