UWA student athlete and Sports Council President Max Qua is currently hosting a fundraising campaign to donate to sarcoma research and outreach.

The cause is close to Max, with her partner Matthew taking on synovial sarcoma for the second time.

The medical research student will be shaving her head for Sock it to Sarcoma, a charitable organisation that helps support those impacted by sarcoma, raises awareness about the disease, and provides funding for much-needed sarcoma research.

Max and her partner have already raised $18,000 in one week, and this Saturday 27 June , Max will be shaving her head, with the hair donated to be made into wigs.
