Construction of the new Bilya Marlee building (meaning river of the swan) is progressing well. The lower ground floor slab, columns and stairs to the upper ground level have been poured.

This new purpose-built facility will be a key component within the southern precinct of the campus, and will greatly improve the current student experience for the School of Indigenous Studies, the Centre for Aboriginal Medical and Dental Health and POCHE Centre for Indigenous Health.

Access along Underwood Parade has been re-opened via a gantry walkway, which is limited (1.5 metre walkway): care should be taken moving through the gantry.
