In 2016 the School of Indigenous Studies will be moving to a brand new facility, just south of the Old Pharmacology Building alongside Prescott Court. Thank you to all the students that participated in our survey about the type of facility you want built. This feedback is invaluable in making sure that the new building is designed to provide the best teaching and learning experience and a variety of spaces for students, staff and visitors to enjoy their time on campus.

One lucky student won an iPad Mini for her participation in the survey and for providing such thoughtful suggestions that will be incorporated in the design process. This student is Krysta Whittingslow who is currently in her 2nd year  of Bachelor or Arts majoring in Communication and Media.

These are exciting times for SIS as we work with the architects to create a space that will not only be a hub for Aboriginal students, but also a gateway to Indigenous knowledge at the University of Western Australia.
