On Orientation Day, our students are told that if they leave UWA with just a degree, then the University has failed them.

They are encouraged to make friends, join clubs, play sport, study overseas and take part in as many extra-curricular activities as they can.

Residential students are often among those who most take these words to heart, and their annual Lip Dub competition involves hundreds of them in what has become a highlight of the Colleges' calendar.

A ‘lip dub' is a music video clip, using an already-released song, that aims to involve as many people as possible. It must be recorded in one long take, from the beginning to the end of the song, with no editing allowed.

There is fierce competition between the colleges for the best performance and the most number of students taking part.

This year's entry from St George's College, Kiss You , was recorded at the end of May and involved 80 students.

Take a look at how much fun University students can have!
