The distinguished Science on the Swan Conference is returning to Perth in 2019. Hosted by the West Australian Health Translational Network (WAHTN), the Conference will be held from 5-7 June 2019 at The Westin Perth.
The theme will be Neuroscience & The Senses – Healthy Ageing across the Life Course. Topics will include pain, vision, hearing, ageing, cognitive decline, cancer research and innovations being developed locally in the area of the senses, with special attention given to the journey from laboratory benchtop to patient bedside.
Highly sought-after British television presenter, Dr Michael Mosley, will present the keynote address with introductions being made by Nobel Laureate, Professor Barry Marshall.
Submissions are now open for abstracts of original work for consideration in the 2019 program and close on 15 March 2019. More information can be found at scienceontheswan.com.au/abstracts.
