UWA’s Innovation Quarter (IQ) is collaborating with CSIRO to bring IQ LaunchCamp to UWA on 25-26 June.

This two day experience is designed to help researchers take the first steps to understanding the market for their research idea.  Through IQ LaunchCamp researchers will be introduced to tools that will help them test and validate their ideas by starting the process of ‘proof of problem.’

All UWA researchers, from PhD candidates to senior academics are invited to register.

We will work on attendee’s real-world projects - this can be an early stage idea, a mature impact opportunity, or even an existing partnership/enterprise.  If you don’t have a project but are eager to learn, you can join an existing team.

At IQ LaunchCamp you will learn:

  • How to apply effective tools to clearly articulate the problem your research is solving
  • How to understand your market
  • A different approach to working on the impact of your research
  • To present your research in a way that's focused on the problem you're solving and the impact it has on the world
