Colleagues

The Professional and General Staff Agreement provides for the establishment of the Professional and General Staff Consultative Committee (PGCC).  The role of  the PGCC is to enable direct consultation between management and employees on workplace relations and human resource matters.  The membership of the committee includes three elected staff representatives and the term of these staff representatives has ended.

Nominations are invited from staff members interested in serving on the committee for a two year term between 2017 - 2019.   Individuals nominating need to carefully consider their capacity to regularly attend committee meetings.  PGCC meetings are held quarterly and last for approximately one hour.

Nomination prerequisites: A MEMBER FROM PROFESSIONAL AND GENERAL STAFF

Voting Criteria:  PROFESSIONAL AND GENERAL STAFF ONLY

Term of Office:  TWO YEARS (Commencing February 2017)

Nomination process:

Your nomination accompanied by a brief statement of no more than 100 words identifying relevant experience and interest in the PGCC committee and a current photograph (optional) should be forwarded by email or by letter to the Returning Officer, Lucette Cant in Human Resources by 5.00pm  Wednesday, 1 February 2017 .

If the number of nominations equals the number of available places then these nominees will be automatically elected to the Committee. If nominations exceed the number of places on a Committee, a ballot of Professional and General Staff will be conducted.  Staff will be advised by all-staff email as to whether a ballot will be required.
