The UniWA Project, part of the IT Transformation Program, aims to change the way we work with computers and collaborate both on and off campus. A key milestone of this project was the migration of all staff computers onto a single domain, UniWA.
Following this migration, it is necessary to move a large number of UWA applications (e.g. Staff connect, Emplyee Self Service) over to the new domain. This will cause outages to the applications being migrated, therefore have been scheduled to occur in batches across a number of weekends between now and the end of 2016 to minimise impact on the University.
The first migration is scheduled from 6pm Friday 14 October to Sunday 16 October. Check the schedule to see what applications are being migrated and when, to determine if you could be affected. Please notify the UniWA Migration Team if the any of the application migrations on this schedule have the potential to critically impact your business area.
Greater detail around application migrations, as well as the full schedule, can be found on the UniWA Project Website. No migrations will be scheduled between October 31st and November 25th due to Semester 2 examinations.
