"In the past month I have given a reading at the Poetry Library of Stockholm Public Library, and in the next three or so weeks will read in London at the Shearsman Reading Series, Lisbon (at the launch of a translation of my selected poems at Bar na Cave) and Singapore (World Voices at Arts House).

The theme for The Fourteenth Biennial Symposium on Literature and Culture in the Asia-Pacific Region is the Era of the Digital Revolution.

The Symposium will be held from 4 to 7 December, 2011 at The University of Western Australia.

The Association for the Study of Australian Literature (ASAL) and the Westerly Centre are to honour the work of Winthrop Professor Dennis Haskell with a symposium entitled Creative writing and its contexts.
