0 – 100 km/h in 3.2 Seconds. Using Formula 1 and Aerospace grade engineering processes and designs. Designed, tested, manufactured and raced completely by UWA students. The UWA Motorsport Team’s creations on display at the Science Library are two of the many vehicles that the team has produced over its history.

Developing a new open wheel performance car each year, is a demanding project that requires students to not only design and build a car, but to manage a team of students, organise and maintain sponsorship agreements, and run marketing and social media campaigns amongst all the other tasks commonly found in running a small organisation.

Open to any degree seeking student, the project offers one of the most intensive and practical levels of engagement of any student project.

Come and check out the UWA Motorsport exhibition – on display in the Science Library foyer from the 11th of August to the 26th of September.
