Congratulations to W. Professor Judith Finn who received the Researcher of the Year Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Award at the Nurses and Midwives Board of
Western Australia Excellence Awards dinner this weekend.This award was presented in
recognition of Judith's outstanding and sustained excellence to clinical
research and is testament to her commitment in all that she does.

These prestigious awards are run annually by the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia and provide an opportunity for health professionals and the community to identify and acknowledge the contribution nurses make to the health and well being of West Australians. Following nominations, candidates are shortlisted and then invited for interviews, after which finalists are identified.

Judith was listed as a finalist based on her contribution to clinical nursing research, principally at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where she holds the Chair in Nursing Research.
