Stan & Jean Perron Visiting Professor

As the 2009 Stan & Jean Perron Visiting Fellow, Professor David Yermack from the Stern School of Business - New York University, will teach an Honours Unit in Finance during semester one 2009. His own areas of interest include: Corporate finance; Executive compensation; Executive stock options; Boards of directors; Corporate governance; Law and economics; Sports economics.

Alcoa Visiting Professor
Two professors from Harvard University and a third from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland have been announced as the Business School's 2009 Alcoa Visiting Professors.  

Professor Jean-Claude Usunier, Director, Institute of Research Management at the University of Lausanne will be the first Alcoa Visiting Professor with a visit currently proposed for June.  His areas of interest include: international marketing, international negotiations, international research methods.

Professor Paul Healy, Unit Head Accounting and Management, Harvard University currently teaches in several executive education programs, and is faculty co-chair of Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation.  His areas of interest include: corporate financial reporting and analysis, corporate governance and accountability, and equity research in capital markets.  Professor Healy is currently scheduled to be on campus in July.

Dr Mary Gentile is an independent writer, consultant, and educator.  As a previous faculty member, researcher and administrator at the Harvard Business School, her areas of interest include: curriculum development, executive coaching, issue definition and strategy related to leadership development, social impact management, ethics, business education and diversity.  Dr Gentile is expected at the Business School in mid-October.
