In response to your feedback about the cleanliness of the libraries, deep cleaning will be taking place over the inter-semester vacation period. As a result, we will be closing a number of our libraries for a whole weekend to allow cleaners unrestricted and uninterrupted access to toilets, carpets and stairwells.

Libraries will be closed as follows:

• Reid Library – Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June
• Science Library – Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July
• Medical and Dental Library  – Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July
• Law Library – Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July

We would like to thank you for your understanding over the last few weeks as our libraries experienced increased traffic over the exam period that placed a significant strain on facilities and cleaning services. We have been working with the University on improving the standard of cleaning in the libraries and look forward to starting Semester 2 with fresh, clean library spaces!
