More than 200 students and families gathered to celebrate the UWA Business School Prize Giving Ceremony held at the University Club's Banquet Hall in early May.

MC for the evening and Chair of the Academic Board, Professor David Plowman introduced the evening's events and hosts, Vice-Chancellor Professor Alan Robson, Dean, Tracey Horton, and Deputy Warden of Convocation, Simon Dawkins.

According to the Dean, Tracey Horton, the Prize Giving Ceremony is one of the highlights of the year celebrating the achievements and success of the Business School's best students.

"Understanding our students needs, whether undergraduate, postgraduate, international or domestic is a key ingredient to the overall success of our Business School as we strive to achieve our ambitious goal of being one of the best Business Schools in the world," she said.

"The efforts of our students and their results are one of the ingredients of achieving international excellence. Our prize winners epitomise the combination of talent, passion and hard work and I am sure that these individuals will continue on a pathway of success in the future," Tracey added.
