The UWA Albany Centre is holding its Open Day on Thursday August 20 from 10am until 1pm and 4pm to 6pm. School groups and members of the community will be able to tour the Centre during these times.  Faculty and admissions staff visiting from Perth for the day will be available to answer any questions.

The Albany Centre provides an excellent transition to studies at the Perth campus of UWA. A full first-year enrolment is available in over forty UWA undergraduate degrees across five faculties including business, science, agriculture and health science. Local school-leavers benefit from this excellent transition year to university studies without the stress and expense of having to leave home and move to Perth.

Five full degrees can be completed through the Albany Centre. UWA offers a Bachelor of Arts with four major areas of study, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Restoration Ecology and a Bachelor of Science with majors in restoration ecology and anthropology. Curtin University offers Bachelor of Education degrees in Primary and Early Childhood teaching in collaboration with UWA.

Units can be completed in Albany for a wider range of degrees at UWA. Students can commence studying part-time for a degree not otherwise available in Albany (eg exercise science) while staying at home and working to save money for their move to Perth.
