UWA EXPO
Sunday 10 August
The annual UWA Expo is a great opportunity for prospective students and their families to visit the UWA campus and see what goes on inside a world class university. The expo will include course displays, public activities and information sessions.

UWA ALBANY OPEN DAY
Wednesday 20 August
School groups and members of the community will be able to tour the UWA Albany Centre during the annual open day. Faculty and admissions staff visiting from Perth for the day will be available to answer any questions.

SUNSET CAMPUS TOURS
25 August and 15 September at 5pm
The Prospective Students Office is now hosting Sunset Campus Tours. This is a fantastic opportunity to go on a guided tour of the beautiful UWA grounds and ask questions about courses and admission requirements. To find out more please contact the Prospective students office on 6488 2477. Please note these tours are for prospective students and their families and are not intended for the general public.

AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
There are a variety of awards and scholarships on offer for students from all backgrounds who are interested in studying at UWA in 2009.

Mid-August 2008
Information about these opportunities and how to apply for them will be sent to schools, with a UWA Awards and Scholarships booklet available for every Year 12 TEE student in the state.

30 September 2008
Closing date for applications for awards and scholarships for study in 2009.

APPLICATIONS FOR 2009 ADMISSION THROUGH TISC
Applications for admission to UWA in 2009 are lodged through the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC). In August, a 2009 TISC guide for every TEE student will be sent to schools. This book contains detailed information about applying to the four public universities in Western Australia. Further information is available throught the TISC website.

Closing date for all on-time applications - a late fee is payable on any application lodged after this date.

29 September 2008
Final closing date for applications for Medicine and Dentistry. Re-arrangement of existing Medicine and Dentistry preferences is still possible after this date.

28 November
Final closing date for applying or adding preferences for UWA. Re-arrangement of existing preferences is still possible after this date.

23 December
WA 2008 Year 12 results available on the web and Universities Admission Advice Letter mailed.

2 January
Final closing date for re-arranging preferences for the main round of offers.

15 January
Main round offers available on the web and also mailed.

3 January
Second round offers available on the web and also mailed.
