Five Business School students led by Dr Fang Liu have won the Global Google Online Marketing Challenge.  The team beat 1,650 other teams from around the world to win Google's first University Online Marketing Challenge.

The competition was designed to give marketing students experience in developing online advertising. Using US$200 worth of Google AdWords advertising, teams had to devise a marketing campaign for a local business.

The team of Aaron Balm, Lauren Bobridge, Amy Smith, Victor Tsen and Arina Usikov won the competition with a campaign for Perth's indoor rock climbing and abseiling centre - The Hangout.
