The School of Anatomy and Human Biology celebrated its 50th anniversary in November. The celebrations included tours of the building and its facilities and afternoon tea followed by a cocktail party in the Memorial Garden. Around 150 people attended, including then Federal Minister for Education, Julie Bishop, Vice-Chancellor Alan Robson, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Doug McEachern and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) Don Markwell. Head of School Professor Linc Schmitt talked about the School’s history, noting that all previous heads of school were still living – something healthy in the air at Anatomy! A special booklet outlining the history of the School over its 50 years was prepared for the occasion.

Anyone who would like a copy should contact the School of Anatomy and Human Biology on 08 6488 3290.
