Information Services at the University of Western Australia will host Hidden Stories, an exhibition of selected re-constructed books by Perth artist Eve Arnold, from 17th March until 20th June 2014.

A practicing artist for over twenty years, Arnold returned to Central Institute of Technology for further visual art studies in 2013. The book art on show is part of one of the artist’s Studio Practice projects for CIT.

This exhibition highlights the sculptural qualities of re-constructed books and ties in with the notion that reading increases knowledge and, metaphorically, enables us to grow wings and fly.

The exhibition will be open to the public and can be viewed in the Foyer of the Science Library.
