The winners for the second category in 2003, 2004 and 2005 were all students undertaking physics studies in this Faculty. Mr Ranga Muhandiramge was the winner for 2003, Miss Alison Fowler was the winner for 2004 and Mr Neil Rabinowitz was the winner for 2005.

All students had been awarded innumerable prizes for their academic achievements during their studies at UWA.

Ranga completed a combined Science/Engineering degree with joint honours in Physics and Mathematics, Alison a Bachelor of Science degree and a Diploma in Modern Languages (German) with honours in Physics, and Neil completed a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree again with joint honours in Physics and Mathematics.

Ranga is now studying for his PhD in the area of mathematics.
