In August 2005 Mr Peter Bullard contacted the School of Human Movement and Exercise Science to ascertain if any graduating students were interested in employment with MultiSport, a company that provides teaching and coaching services in physical education and sport in the international sector to children aged from three to twelve years. The specific positions available at that time were in Singapore and China, working with a large number of international schools.

Three graduates accepted the challenge, one initially in Singapore and then in Shanghai, and the other two directly in Shanghai. Mr Bullard, a director of the company, contacted the School again this week saying "a number of your graduates joined us in January of this year as sports coaches in our Shanghai operations. They have done a great job and applied themselves well. I hope they have also enjoyed their cultural experience and managed to save some money as well. Things have developed so well here in Shanghai that we would like to recruit further sports coaches in January next year."

Feedback from the graduates has also been very positive. One of them, Rob Duff, commented that the company was "excellent to work for" and that although they were very busy they were "really enjoying the opportunity".

Five graduating students have already expressed interest for the 2007 positions and the School is looking forward to further collaboration opportunities with MultiSport.
