Universities are operating today in a climate of increasing demand for accountability in all areas and the Federal government requires all universities to submit evidence of the quality of their teaching and learning and to have in place mechanisms for monitoring and improving the student experience. A component of federal funding to universities is now tied to these measures.

At UWA, improving the student experience has been made a focus of the latest operational priorities plan and it is vital that the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences gathers reliable data on the student experience from our alumni.

As a recent graduate you should have received a Course Experience Questionnaire (CEQ). We urge you to take the time to fill out and return this questionnaire. Your evaluation of the experience you had in your science degree will provide us with vital information to help us improve our courses and teaching and to enhance the experience for future generations of science students.

Thank you.
