Juggling work commitments and study has paid off for three University of Western Australia (UWA) post-graduate students who recently completed their theses with the Western Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative (WAHRI).

The University of Western Australia has officially opened its new Podiatry Clinic, offering accessible, affordable podiatric services to the community.

The clinic offers general podiatry care, paediatric foot assessment, treatment for sports injuries of the foot and ankle, the prescription and manufacture of foot orthoses, diabetic foot assessment, diabetic wound management and minor podiatric surgery.

A fascinating line-up of speakers will converge on The University of Western Australia next week for a major symposium on emotions and what motivates people to act as they do.

The ‘Emotions, Moods and Motivations’ Symposium will tease out the relationship between emotion and motivation in a diverse range of issues, including migration, trans-nationalism, eating, teaching and even pop music.
