Western Australia is well-placed to play a vital role in the future of Australia's relationship with the United States and other countries in the region, according to Professor Alan Robson, Vice-Chancellor of The University of Western Australia.

Professor Robson was speaking following a visit to UWA tonight by Dr Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State of the United States of America to attend a dinner hosted by WA Premier Alan Carpenter in conjunction with the Federal Foreign Affairs Minister, Stephen Smith - both UWA graduates.

Our Executive Education activity continues to grow. So far this year, the AIM-UWA Business School Alliance has been successful in winning and delivering the first of a series of new Management Development Programs in Singapore, for the parent company of our partner PSB Academy.

Global Google Online Marketing Challenge Win

Five Business School students led by Dr Fang Liu have won the Global Google Online Marketing Challenge.  The team beat 1,650 other teams from around the world to win Google's first University Online Marketing Challenge.

SIFE Team Win National Championships

A team of Business School students has won the national SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) championships and will represent Australia at the SIFE International Championships to be held in Singapore from 1-4 October.
