The AMEB (WA) sponsors the Perth Speech and Drama Festival every year, and has done so almost since its inception. The Festival is run by the Speech and Drama Teachers’ Association of WA and has just celebrated its 21st birthday. It is open to all students of the Association’s members and attracts about 500-600 entries annually, from year 3 to Open level. The AMEB sponsorship helps with financing the prizes given to the entrants.
The Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences would like to recognise the following recipients of the 2017 Faculty Teaching and Learning Awards, which recognise, promote and reward excellent teaching and research supervision within EMS.
The School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering would like to congratulate Professor Tyrone Fernando for gaining The Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence - Individual Teaching, at this year’s Teaching and Learning Awards Ceremony. This was held at The University Club on 21 June 2017.
