Broadening units are free-choice units that must be taken from outside of your chosen undergraduate degree area. They may complement your degree-specific major, or simply add a fun or interesting dimension to your studies.

As an example, second-year Bachelor of Science student Marc Smith (pictured) has chosen to complement his Sport Science major with broadening units in the areas of Archaeology, Marketing and Education.
