After substantial planning and four successful migration weekends, over 100 applications have now been moved over to UniWA with no significant business impact.
The final application batch will be moved over to UniWA this weekend and was scheduled with assistance from each faculty. Through this consultation it was decided to defer the transfer of many critical business applications, including student-facing systems until this weekend so students were not adversely impacted during their exams.
The membership of the list has not changed. An email to firstname.lastname@example.org will still be received by all staff in senior leadership roles across the University. This includes the Executive, all Pro Vice Chancellors, Deans, Heads of School, Faculty Managers, School Managers, Division Directors, Directors of Research Centres and Associate Directors.
We would appreciate if you could please send this email on to other staff in your area, as we would like to give all staff the opportunity to participate.
UWA Sport Pty Ltd still needs your help and honest feedback to better understand your needs so we can develop our future programs and services – you don’t need to be active, a member of a gym, or involved in sport, we want to hear from ALL staff!
Dear Researchers, Academica, and Members of the UWA Community
As you might know, UWA along with the 3 other main WA universities has won the right to host the prestigious and large WWW 2017 conference covering all things Web related (and certainly not just technical aspects). This is a great opportunity for UWA to market our research and any other vaguely Web-related activities.
Do you want to be involved, or have colleagues here or elsewhere who we should think of involving? If so, please read on.
