After nearly six years with the University of Western Australia, David Harrison will be leaving the institution to take on the role of Chief of Staff to the Vice-Chancellor at Murdoch University. David's last day at UWA will be 18 May.
The annual IQ Awards on 10 May will celebrate UWA staff, researchers and students who are developing creative solutions to real-world problems.
Our applicants are helping to drive UWA’s culture of innovation and their amazing stories will inspire others to get involved in creating, doing, and making a contribution to exciting transformations for the future.
Award winners will receive support to take their projects further – including access to funding, publicity, networks and mentors.
Rodney Glossop has spent his career helping people achieve their health and fitness goals and prides himself on leading by example knowing it can motivate and encourage others.
UWA Sport’s Deputy General Manager also likes a challenge and is currently training for his latest one.
On Sunday 27 May, Rodney will participate in the UWA half marathon, part of the HBF Run for Reason. This will be his first half marathon, in fact the first running event he’s participated in since the 12k City to Surf 15 years ago.
