The Australian Museum invites individuals and groups to enter the Eureka Prizes 2010.
Presented annually by the Australian Museum, the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes reward excellence in the fields of scientific research and innovation, science leadership, school science and science journalism and communication.

The Australian Museum Eureka Prizes are a unique partnership between government organisations, institutions, companies and individuals committed to celebrating the vitality, originality and excellence of Australian science.

The Australian Academy of Science provides a quarterly e-bulletin 'Early Days' for early career researchers, to try to address issues of importance to ECRs and to make them aware of the Academy and its activities. If you would like to receive the bulletin, go to the website and click on 'subscribe'.

Winthrop Professor Lorenzo Faraone will facilitate the information session on UWA Research Development Awards. During the session Professor Faraone will provide advice regarding the writing of successful UWA Research Development Award grant applications and the application form and rules will be discussed.
