The European Commission, under the Seventh Framework Programme, has released a new Marie Curie scheme called the Marie Curie International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES). IRSES aims to strengthen research partnerships through short period staff exchanges and networking activities between European research organisations and organisations from countries with which the Community has an S&T agreement, including Australia.

There are various grants available through the Ian Potter Foundation. Grant opportunities relevant to researchers in FECM include:

The Australian Government and the Government of the People’s Republic of China jointly manage the Australia-China Special Fund for Scientific and Technological Cooperation. The Fund is designed to promote and support scientific and technological cooperation between Australian and Chinese researchers in both public and private sectors.
