For Jack Bao, his studies at UWA and teaching language in his first year out of University in Paraburdoo have provided the perfect mix of experience for his current role as Aspire Outreach Officer.

The Sports Science graduate has been with Aspire since the start of 2014 and he loves all the elements that make his role varied and challenging.

Dear colleagues

I am pleased to announce that Cara MacNish has been offered a secondment to work with Universities Australia as a Senior Political and Policy Adviser and will begin this role on 16 August.

Based in Canberra, Cara will work directly with UA Chief Executive Belinda Robinson through the five month secondment and use her thorough knowledge of the higher education sector and public policy to contribute to the peak body’s work.

Invite your top students to apply for the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship of up to $120,000 for research or coursework study at graduate level.

If you have students who are keen to pursue a PhD or full time Masters study next year, advise them that applications for this scholarship are open and close on 5 September 2017.
