Applications are now invited for UWA Research Development Awards commencing in 2011.
The UWA Research Development Awards provide an opportunity for early career researchers to develop skills required for submitting grant applications and research plans. These skills would be built upon for future research projects and to build track records for external grant competitiveness.

In an Australian first, researchers have observed the generation of internal waves flowing hundreds of metres beneath the ocean surface on the North West Shelf.

Western Australia's future transport infrastructure needs will be discussed through the lenses of government, industry and academia at a free public event at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 20 April at the UWA Business School (please note that the date has been postponed from 17 March).
