2010 scholarships information now available

UWA has a diverse range of awards and scholarships on offer for students commencing study in 2010. These scholarships are not just applicable to top academic students, they also recognise achievement across a wide range of areas including involvement in extra-curricular activities such as sport and music, as well as volunteer or charity work completed within the community.

UWay is a scheme which allows TEE students whose academic achievements have been adversely affected by certain disadvantages, including regional isolation, to apply for special entry to an undergraduate degree course at UWA.

Changes to the prerequisites for Engineering

In 2011, the prerequisites for admission to the Bachelor of Engineering (including combined degrees) will change. These changes will be relevant to this year's Year 11 students.

The Earth Science Discovery Centre is now open

The Earth Science Discovery Centre is an exciting new concept for science communication at all levels. It is a space designed for small groups (up to 25) to explore more advanced Earth Science, particularly in 3-D.

Campus Tours

The Prospective Students Office is running a series of campus tours this year, aimed at prospective students who would like to find out more about entry requirements and courses at UWA whilst taking in the beautiful gardens and buildings at the Crawley campus.

Building on the success of similar tours run in the past, this year both the number of tours and the times they are available have been increased to allow for a wider section of the community to find out more about studying at UWA.

A Day in the Life of an Astronomy Student
